This is the arrival day, where you will have one night included in Reykjavik, so you can settle in and rest before starting our photographic tour.
Our adventure will start from Reykjavik. From there our route to the Snaefellsnes peninsula begins.
In this area we will be able to photograph iconic Icelandic landmarks such as the spectacular black church of Budhir, the impressive cliffs and rock formations of Arnarstapi along the coast and the iconic Mount Kirkjufell, ¡¡¡¡ among many other incredible places!!!!
The 4th day will be our last sunrise on the peninsula, for which we will revisit the location we went to on our first sunset, Kirkjufell. We will now take advantage of another type of lights in the area, which again will allow us to enjoy greatly during our session.
After sunrise we will head west to the Vik area. Where we can photograph the imposing waterfalls of Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss. In Seljalandsfoss we will stay until after sunset.
We will visit Skogafoss and Kvernufoss waterfalls .
We can visit the mountain Lomagnupur and south of the island, the cliffs of Dyrholaey, as well as the lighthouse that rules the hill, also visit the beach of Reynisfjara, this black sand beach is located at the foot of a mountain, attached to a cave with basaltic rocks.
We will visit Hofn, visiting the Stokksnes peninsula, where we will appreciate the Vestrahörn mountain.
After sunrise, we will head to Vatnajökull National Park visiting Diamond Beach and Fjallsarlon Lagoon or the more famous Jokulsarlon.
For sunset we will photograph Diamond Beach.
This beautiful beach is formed by black volcanic sand and thousands of ice chunks from the Vatnajökul glacier that fall into the Jokulsarlon lagoon, and reach the sea through a channel.
After sunset, we will take every opportunity to try to photograph the Northern Lights from the impressive glacial lagoons in the area.
Today we will wake up early to photograph the sunrise on the Jokulsarlon lagoon, on whose surface we will be able to take pictures of a multitude of icebergs floating on the water.
This beautiful landscape will allow us to spend several hours in the area without noticing the passage of time.
During these days we will continue exploring different parts of the park such as the church of Hof (Hofskirkja), and we will move to the area of Skaftafell, to photograph the glacier and the lagoon of Fjallsarlon.
On the 9th day we will get up early to photograph Diamond Beach again, this time under the light of dawn. After breakfast, we will start our return trip to the west, and we will take the opportunity to photograph some locations that were left pending on the way out, as well as to repeat in some other where the conditions are different.
We will wake up in Reyjkavik where we will have a leisurely day touring the capital to enjoy our last morning in this beautiful country where we will later head to Keflavik International Airport and end our incredible journey through Iceland.
