Iceland in summer is the perfect time to visit this island and make the most of it since the weather is more benevolent than the rest of the year and the conditions are more favorable for photography.
A country like Iceland is the ideal setting to enjoy nature to the fullest.
Home to the largest glacier in Europe, this land of fire and ice offers some of the best photographic possibilities on the planet.
Iceland’s breathtaking landscapes are among the most spectacular in the world.
The Icelandic Highlands, also known as the Highlands, are a vast and wild region located in the center of the country.
This unique and dramatic landscape is characterized by a stunning combination of glaciers, rivers, mountains, lava fields, hot springs and vast desert plains.
This trip to Iceland in summer is to photograph the island with its colorful sunsets and sunrises, and also thanks to the climate of the season we will find a very green country.
Besides, it is the time of splendor of various types of flowers.
The climate is ideal to visit this beautiful country since the cold is not as harsh as in winter.
The start of our photographic journey in Iceland immerses us in the vibrant energy of Reykjavik, the capital that serves as our starting point.
From here, we will trace our route to the majestic peninsula of Snaefellsnes, a landscape where Icelandic nature displays its most captivating wonders.
In this first stretch, our photographic objectives unfold as a visual canvas of the Icelandic essence.
The iconic black church of Budhir stands as a unique architectural testimony, while the dramatic cliffs and rock formations of Arnarstapi along the coast offer extraordinary visual opportunities.
And, of course, the omnipresent Mount Kirkjufell, with its distinctive silhouette, awaits to be immortalized in every shot.
This start will immerse us fully in the photographic richness that characterizes the Snaefellsnes peninsula.
In these first two days, our cameras will capture the changing essence of the landscapes, from the softness of the black sand beaches to the imposing presence of the glaciers in the distance.

We will dedicate our afternoon to explore the majesty of Seljalandsfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls.
The peculiarity of this waterfall lies in the possibility of walking behind its aquatic curtain, giving us a unique perspective to capture breathtaking snapshots.
At the end of our day, we will retire to the comfort of our hotel to recharge our batteries and explore the option of witnessing the northern lights, taking advantage of the favorable atmospheric conditions.
