Lalo Esses, as most people know him, was born in Mexico City and from a very young age he showed a very active imagination.
He has ventured into the different branches of photography, being the landscape the one he is most passionate about. Looking for the place, waiting for the perfect moment and being surprised by all that nature has to offer is simply what amazes him the most. Everything is unrepeatable and that is the magic that caught him a few years ago. Professional photographer since 2017, he has a couple of individual exhibitions, he has also obtained several mentions in some of the most outstanding international competitions such as the IPA (International Photography Awards), in the One Eyeland contest he was the best landscape photographer at the national level (2019), honorable mention in the PX3 contest (The Prix de la Photographie Awards (2019 and 2020), Silver Award in 2021 of this same contest and The Pano Awards 2020 where his photo was in 22nd place out of more than 2500 photos, among others. In 2021 she finished in fifth place in Mexico in the prestigious WPE Awards contest, being one of his most important recognitions so far.
What he likes most is being able to share his knowledge, so in 2020 he co-founded the company Feral Frame, which is in charge of organizing workshops, experiences and photographic outings where they can teach other photography enthusiasts this incredible world
He has been an ambassador for Kase Filters Mexico since 2020, he has also collaborated with brands such as Fuji and Sigma and has carried out projects for companies such as Tecate, Shein and Amazon Prime.
Thanks to the filters he has been able to take his photography to another direction where that “help” has given him that extra to make a spectacular photograph.
“Each photograph is feeling, a way of expression, a way of seeing the world, it is time stopped, the image of everything that remains forever.”
