We offer you a complete and immersive photographic trip to Bolivia, where we will visit the Salar de Uyuni and the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve of Andean Fauna, where we will be in one of the largest salt deposits in the world and that by the season is very likely to have the incredible reflections offered by this site.
In addition, we will be visiting the national reserve where we will be surrounded by mountains, we will visit different places, enjoying the incredible starry skies and at the same time we will be able to admire the fauna that live in these places.
In this 8-day trip we will visit various places and landscapes of Bolivia, as it is a country with unparalleled natural jewels.
Its geological history has delineated through millions of years some of the most capricious and visually beautiful landscapes in the world.
Home to ancient cultures and traditions as colorful as its landscapes.
In this South American country you can photograph volcanoes with glaciers, huge salt flats, deserts, lakes and wildlife.
All this under the impressive stellar mantle during the night and the most special light during the day.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to travel, learn and live an unforgettable experience in this photographic trip, together with other people passionate about nature photography, in one of the most beautiful territories in South America!
On this trip we are looking for night photography at sunrise and sunset in the Salar de Uyuni, which offers us the largest natural mirror in the world.
We will have the opportunity to photograph the Milky Way before sunrise, which will give us the opportunity to compose and get creative in this incredible site.
We will visit the south of Bolivia and head to the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, and on the way we will have the opportunity to visit several lagoons and photograph the places we will find along the way such as geysers, hot springs, the Stone Tree, Laguna Verde, Laguna Coloradaand reach the Licancabur volcano.
During sunset and sunrise, with the radiant colors of the golden hour and the cool tones of the blue hour, you will be able to create an infinite number of compositions with the textures of the rocks, the desert flora and reflections in the lakes as foregrounds.
You will be able to enjoy one of the darkest skies in the region.
All of the above with the help of professional landscape photographers and local guides in the area.
This trip will take place in the month of March (autumn season) leaving the rainy season, as these hinder the contemplation of this natural wealth.
Therefore, the selected dates are the best for landscape photography and also to have a greater chance of enjoying clear skies, especially useful in night photography.
All this in order to have a greater enjoyment of photography in the places we visit and to have reflections for our photographs in the Salar de Uyuni.
Our trip is designed for people passionate about nature photography, from beginners to advanced.
We can classify this trip as low to medium difficulty, because we will do short hikes throughout the day.
One of the points to highlight is that we will be at an average altitude of 3900mnsm and a maximum altitude of 4900msnm so it is important to take into account that our body will react to this factor, so if you have a condition where the altitude affects your body you will have to consult your doctor to give you the proper instructions.
The altitude affects our body, and we recommend acclimatization prior to the trip, one way to do this is to arrive 1 to 3 days before to La Paz which is at 3900msnm, and allow the natural adaptation and thus have a better response of our body in this trip.
Regarding age, this trip is suitable for any age as long as you are in reasonably good health and do not have any serious cardiovascular or respiratory disease.
